Yoga :: Shapes or Structure

i've been thinking lately about playful practice…or rather an unorganized one.
I have this constant internal dialog debating if structured or freeFlow practice is better. I am finding that they both can coExist; things are not mutually exclusive. Even if my brain is always in disagreement, the heart seems to know better.⠀

I am a W I L D woman⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
high vibration always⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
grounding is my endless work⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
structure in practice is often very helpful⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
to settle me when the ebb and flow pick up speed⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
my full moon practice is structured, slow, steady⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
it allows me to follow, to ground, to dig myself deep inward⠀⠀⠀
a word on { f r e e f l o w } 🌻⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
i am a W I L D woman!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
i love to move, shift, contort, wiggle, open everything⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
my unstructured self practice is wacky⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
its wild, messy, open hearted and often upside down⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
the sensation of movement with the wind⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
the feeling of my breath guiding me⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
that is everything⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
that is how I fell in love with yoga⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
it is the thing that allows me to work out ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
work through ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
work in and out all of the things that present themselves⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
it is a safe space⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
it is my heart open in motion⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✨🌊⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
all of this .... to say⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
things shift in life⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
as does my / our practice⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
allow yourself the freedom⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
to tap into the things you need⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
when you need them ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
and in the way you need them⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
stay open to all of it⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
it will serve you one day⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
